Capturing the Philanthropic Spirit

The Artemis Fund was created in 2002 from the vision of Judith Miller, a Kentucky Country Day parent and trustee of the Miller Family Foundation. In an act of great foresight and discipline, the class decided that future classes should benefit from the Millers’ generosity. To that end, the class established an advised fund within the Community Foundation of Louisville.

MIssion Statement

Serving as a trustee for The Artemis Fund enables students to learn the importance of philanthropy and develop the skills necessary to become effective philanthropists. Through the application of these skills, the trustees of The Artemis Fund support local organizations that encourage the development of youth and the growth of their fundamental values of love, family and respect. By serving this mission, they seek to strengthen the Louisville Community.
